About the Woods

The Norden Folk organization has 69 acres of woods along the Chippewa river.
This is a magnificent piece of property located 6 miles west of Eau Claire at the confluence of the Chippewa River and Elk Creek.
It is nearly all wooded with several walking trails.
At the southern edge is a high bluff with a spectacular view of the Chippewa River valley.

NORDENFOLK ACREAGE UPDATE:

A few years ago most of the acreage at our land site which includes the Richard Amundson Memorial Park was place in the managed forest program.  It is a beautiful place to walk and observe nature.

We are working to have the land placed in a nature conservancy and preserved for future generations.
